The Truth of Cats and Dogs (Mostly Dogs)

The day began pretty much like any other day for Shinya and for Die. Shinya of course woke up and went immediately to the bathroom where he began his day with a shower and brushing his teeth. After he finished getting dressed and ready for his day it was then to focus on the next most important thing to him at the moment, and that was his dog, Miyu. He fed her and made sure that she had her water and everything that she needed before it was okay to actually look forward to what was happening today.

For Die the day started like many of his mornings, he woke up and in order to get the taste of beer out of his mouth he went in and brushed his teeth and cleaned out his mouth. He liked to do alot of drinking, but it was mostly because of a problem that he seemed to have with admitting his feelings, and so he decided to drink his problems away instead of facing them. And who did he have feelings for you may ask? Well, that is simple, that would be Shinya. As many of the fans know, Die thought that Shinya was a female when he first saw them and so developed something of a crush on the other. After finding out who he was he dropped it... at least in the public eye. He still had feelings for the other and so he was happy that today he would finally get the opportunity to see the other unscheduled since the man had left a pair of his sunglasses in his car and he was going to return them.

Shinya sat down upon the couch and then watched as Miyu jumped up and sat next to him and he pet through her soft fur. He was pondering what he should do today with his day off from work and figured that it would be nice just to stay at home and perhaps work in his garden for a little while. He nodded to himself and then turned on the TV to catch up on the news for the day or any other show that might catch his eye, when there came a knock at the door. He perked his brow and wondered just who it could be, when he was expecting no one until tomorrow.

Die stood outside of Shinya's door and held the sunglasses in his hand. It was small, yes, but it gave him an excuse to see the other and perhaps to even be alone with him for a few moments if he wasn't entertaining someone. He heard footsteps and then smiled softly as the door opened and he saw the other there.

"May I help... Oh, it's you. Hello, Daisuke." Shinya said as he realized who was there.

"Hello, Shinya. Umm, I know that it's a bit early and everything but I found your sunglasses in my car last night and I figured that I would return them to you before they got broken or something." Die held out the sunglasses to the other as he said this.

Shinya looked to the sunglasses and then took them with a small smile. "Thank you, Daisuke. Umm, would you like to come in for a mom..." It was then that he could feel something brushing past his leg and looked down to see Miyu. He frowned and then watched as she rushed toward the street. He then looked down the street to see a car heading toward the part of the road that Miyu would cross and yelled out for the dog but it was too late as he heard the squealing of brakes and then a horrifying yelp.

Die looked down and then out to the road as Miyu rushed out and then saw the car and rushed after the dog and signaled for the car to stop, but he was too late. He rushed out into the road to where Miyu lay and then heard the door open and then looked up to the man that was driving the car as he got out and covered his mouth.

"Oh my god, is the dog okay?" The man seemed to be a businessman, and seemed actually worried about the dog unlike many people who would yell about the dog running out of nowhere.

Die looked down to Miyu and then turned to see Shinya rushing toward them as well. He touched Miyu's side and then heard a small whining and knew that she was still alive, but it looked like at least one of her legs were broken and she was bleeding. He looked to Shinya and then to the man as he stood there.

"Can you take us to the vet clinic in town?! The dog's alive, but she's bleeding bad." Die yelled this at the man in the panic of the moment.

"Of course! Get in!" The man waved them into the car and when they had secured the dog in Shinya's lap they sped off in the direction of the clinic. Shinya held the small dog in his lap and pet through her fur a little, getting a little blood on his hands in the process but comforting her as the car sped on. Die looked to Shinya as well and then reached out and touched the man's hand with his own, trying to comfort the other in return.

It had been about a week since the incident and Miyu was doing okay. When they got her to the vet she was rushed to the back and they did what they could for her, as she had a broken leg as well as a couple of internal injuries as well. They had to put her entire back end in a cast with small wheels on it so that she could still walk around, her front paws being used to propel her forward. The man that hit her was not charged for anything because truely it was an accident and Shinya did not blame the man for what happened.

Die had made sure to help the man with everything that he needed and even went out of his way to help and care for the small animal because he knew just how much it meant to Shinya. He knew that the dog was his life and had been for some time. He also took this time to really get to know Shinya, inside and out. It was weird because they had been a band for so long and yet he knew very little of the man and always thought of him as a shut-in and a little stuck-up, even with his feelings for the other, and then he came to find he was the opposite of all of those things. All of this time spent with one another just accelerated his feelings for Shinya, made them stronger with each passing moment.

Currently, Shinya was in his kitchen and cooking a nice meal for himself and Die. He had figured that the best way to really repay him for his kindness of helping him to take care of Miyu would be through food, because any other way that he could think of would be immediately shot down, he knew it. He hummed a little as he stirred the pot of rice and made sure that everything was cooking well, he wanted everything to be as perfect as it could be. Yes, Shinya also had feelings for Die, they were a little dorment, but seeing his kindness just seemed to reawaken those feelings toward the man.. and made them grow.

Die slowly approached the door and expected another evening of talking and pampering Miyu, but little did he know what the night had in store for him yet. He knocked on the door and instead of seeing Shinya open the door he heard his voice.

"Come on in, Daisuke! The door's not locked!"

Die looked to the door and then opened it and as soon as he did he was hit with the smells of the other cooking, and what sweet smells they were. He knew the man could cook, but beyond cookies, he had never tasted anything that the other had made. He headed for the kitchen and found the other there, cooking food on the stove and in an apron to make sure his clothes didn't get messed up and smirked a little.

"What's all this? Looks like a dinner for two?" He smirked a little and was half-joking to see what the other would say.

Shinya turned a little to look at the other with a slight smile. "Oh. Yes, it actually is. I figured that since you were so good to Miyu and I, that I would cook some food for the both of us. I hope that's okay with you."

Die looked to the man as he said this and couldn't help but feel his heartstrings tugged on a little and then shook his head. "No, that's fine. Thank you, Shinya."

Shinya turned around to finish cooking and Die was left standing there a little disbelieving... he really was cooking them both dinner.. it was almost like a.. date.. He turned and went and sat down at the table and then smiled softly to himself. He had been a fool not to admit his feelings to the other.. but he was so nervous. Everytime he did think that he could maybe tell the man how he felt he always was interrupted by Kyo or the others... but there was no one around tonight. He nodded softly to himself, tonight was the night, and he was going to tell the other how he felt about him.

Dinner had been perfect, from the first thing he put in his mouth to the last bite of pie that the other had made. They had made small-talk as well, about this or that, mostly about the band or about how the dog was doing. When he finished he slowly laid his napkin over the plate and smiled softly to the other.

"That was delicious, Shinya. Thank you very much for that." He felt very lucky to be in the presence of the other.

A light blush appeared on Shinya's face as he said this and then a small smile as well. "Well, thank you Daisuke. It is because of you that I have been able to take care of Miyu the way that I am... and so this is the only way that I could think of to thank you."

Now it was Die's turn to blush to the words that had come out of Shinya's mouth. He had always wanted to spend a night with Shinya, talking and enjoying the other's company. Of course those thoughts also turned to some of the dreams he had had about the man, dreams that he was sure would get him smacked if he talked about them to the other. It was now or never, if he was going to say anything then he would have to do it now in the silence after the meal.

"You know.. I remember when you first joined the band, Shinya. I remember the confusion that I had thinking that you were a girl and everything. I also know that.. since that time I have been treating you kind of bad.. that I played alot of jokes on you in the past. But, there is a reason behind all of that.. and it's something I've kept from everyone for a long time.. but I wanted to tell you finally. Shinya... I have had feelings for you... ever since that first day that I saw you.. And I thought that they would disappear, but they didn't.." Die looked down into his plate as he finished this and then wondered how Shinya would react to everything.

Shinya sat there and then allowed him to say all of this and then when he finally finished, he was blushing darkly and unable to really say anything for a moment or so. A million things were running through his head at once and his head was spinning, he felt he might faint, but he had to regain his composure.

"Daisuke... The truth is.. I also have had feelings for you... For some time now. It's weird because I thought that since you liked to make fun of me and everything that you hated me.. and so I kept those feelings dormant because of the fear of rejection." Shinya reached across the table and touched Die's hand as he finished this.

Die looked up as he felt the fingers of the other and then smiled softly as he looked into his eyes.. and found himself lost in their beauty. This was amazing, the feeling that he got from even the slightest touch from the other.. and yet.. he found himself wanting to touch the other, and to make the other feel so good that that smile would never leave his face. He took a deep breath for what he was about to do and then slowly got up and then walked a few steps and then leaned down and pressed his lips to Shinya's in a sensual kiss. Of course Shinya seemed to not know what to do for a moment, but soon he was returning the kiss right back, leaning into it and closing his eyes.

They held the kiss for a moment or so and then they broke it and looked into one another's face. There was a bond there unlike anything that he had ever felt.. and no matter what he felt he would never lose that bond. He touched the other's cheek with his hand and then slowly brushed a thumb over the soft flesh there and then smiled. As he did this, Shinya reached up and then touched his hand with his own and smiled as well.

"Daisuke... Would you like... To go to the bedroom. We could continue this there..." Shinya said this, but he was blushing hard and he knew that it must have been very embarrassing to make the first move like this.

Die looked to the other and smiled softly with a nod and then slowly took the other's hand as he pulled it back from his face and then stood from his spot at the table and then waited for the other to stand before Shinya started to lead them to the bedroom. This small walk felt like the biggest steps of his life.. the beginning of a relationship with the one that he truely loved. When someone felt such as he did about Shinya, sex did not matter, the fact that he was of the same gender just didn't apply.

As they walked into the bedroom he felt Shinya's arms go around his neck and then leaned down and kissed the other delicately on the lips, wrapping his arms around the other's waist a little and then closing his eyes as he deepened the kiss. They slowly walked back to the bed as he felt Shinya unbuttoning his shirt and then slowly dropped to the bed with the other, his shirt halfway unbuttoned and most of his chest exposed to the other. Die smiled to the other and then broke the kiss and slowly leaned in and placed small kisses to the side of his neck and then felt the other tip his head back, welcoming the kiss and wanting more at the same time. He slowly kissed his way along the sweet flesh of his neck and even dared to snake his tongue out and lick over the flesh as well. He tasted so good, like the sweetest candy that he could ever eat.

As he kissed his way down along his shoulder, Die's hands slowly moved from the man's sides to his torso, wandering fingers touched here and there along his clothed skin, massaging into the skin a little even before finally reaching his chest. He brushed his fingers this way and that and when he heard a gasp and a small mewling moan, he knew that he had found what he was looking for, the man's nipples. He slowly rolled the tips of his fingers over the nipple that he had found and then pinched at it as well, getting Shinya to arch and allow another small sound to escape through his lips. He slowly kissed down to his collarbone as he allowed his fingers to trail down and then reach the hem of his shirt and then lifted the material up to expose his soft skin to him.

Die's fingers caressed the other's torso as he walked his way along his skin. He slowly touched his way up to his chest where he looked down to see that his nipples were erect, wanting to be touched by him. He slowly touched to one of the nipples and rubbed over the tip of it directly, leaning down from his collarbone to lick at the center of his chest. He could hear Shinya's gasping moans and knew that he was doing something right and so he pinched softly at the pert nipple and then slowly licked his way across his chest to the nipple that he was currently tending to. He slowly licked around it, allowing his hot breath to dance over the flesh there and then slowly licked over it, nibbling on the hardened flesh.

He could feel Shinya's fingers through his hair as he did all of this and slowly he licked his way to the other nipple to do the same that he had been doing. He could feel that his nipples were not the only things that were erect, as the other thing in question was pressing into his hip. He smirked a little and then slowly allowed his fingers to trail down Shinya's torso and then touched around his bellybutton a little as he finally reached his waist. He played around there with his fingers before slowly allowing two of them to slip down into the front of his pants and under his boxers to touch at the base of the man's very hot flesh.

"Shinya... you're so hot.. already." He said this mostly to tease the other and to arouse him ever more.

"Mm... Don't say that.. Daisuke... Ohhnn.." This was all Shinya could get out as he got lost in the throes of lust, his eyes softly glazing to the touch that Die was administering on him.

Die was unsure as to whether or not Shinya had ever been made love to, but he could not deny his request for this. It wasn't like they had just met or something, they had been in Dir en grey since 1997. He slowly stood and then undid his own pants and dropped them to the floor along with his boxers and then looked down to the other's body and smiled softly as he resumed his spot between the other's legs. He then slowly lifted his hips up and off the bed a little and placed them into his lap and then looked down to the other as he took hold of his own flesh and then guided it to the other's tight entrance. He could feel Shinya arching and moaning even as he just rubbed the flesh to his entrance, his own precum becoming something of a lubricant for them as he continued to rub and then finally pushed and felt the tip and then the whole head slide into his tightness.

He had to pause as he was sure if he would have moved very much he would have spilled right there inside of the other. Shinya had arched as well, moaning out loudly before falling back and breaking down into panting moans. He leaned down once more and then kissed his neck and whispered small words of love and affection to the other before rolling his hips and feeling himself pull out and then push back into the other. He continued to roll his hips back and forth until he gained rhythm and speed and was easily pulling out and pushing into the other. He continued and pushed deeper and deeper inside of him, thrusting a little roughly until he felt the other buck off the bed a little and moan out loudly and knew that he had finally found the spot that he had been looking for.

"Ohhhhh! Daisuke!" He grabbed into the sheets beneath him once more as he let out his monsterous moan.

He knew alot of things would have to change but he was willing to do so for their relationship.. for them to be one.

"I love you, Shinya... More than the entire world." Die said this as he kissed his neck softly.

"And I love you, Daisuke... More than words can describe..." Shinya responded as he looked into his eyes.
